Prepare to leave a trail ....
Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. (Emerson)
We all have a different path to walk. I have mine and you have yours. Sometimes the path to take is not always an obvious one; sometimes we feel we have to control it. But what if you just went with the flow? Where would the path take you now? Wouldn't it be much more exciting? What kind of unique trail or footprint could you leave behind?
Each day I take my dog for a walk; mainly because he needs it, but more so because I do. So, off we go, every day....my headphones, my phone and playlist, the leash, a plastic bag or two... and the dog, of course.
My dog Nacho is the best company I could possibly ever ask for. He is quiet and that's how I like it. This is my time to think, to contemplate....and to dream. These are the times when I come up with my best thoughts and ideas; when my mind is still, open and aware of what is around me.
For this one hour of the day, I accept any thought that comes into my mind. Sometimes these thoughts reveal some very interesting ideas.
Walking in nature recharges the batteries and clears the mind; allowing room for the next lot of ideas to keep you moving on your unique path, or to help you to create a new one.
So, put your comfortable shoes on.... I will meet you on the street, and off we will go....
